Cookie Notice
One functional cookie. Cookieless analytics only with your consent. No advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking.
Last updated October 2026
The short version. We do not track you around the internet. This site runs no advertising pixels, and nothing here builds a profile of you. If you agree, we count visits with cookieless, anonymous analytics; if you decline, it never loads.
What a cookie is
A small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the same browser later. Some are necessary for a site to function; most of the ones people object to exist to follow you between sites. We use the first kind.
What this site sets
Site access (functional)
While the site is in pre-launch review, a cookie remembers that you entered the access password so you are not asked on every page. It holds no personal information and expires when the review period ends. Once the site is public this cookie is gone.
Your analytics choice (not a cookie)
When you answer the “Can we count your visit?” banner, your browser’s local storage remembers the answer so we don’t ask again. It stores only “yes” or “no”, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Your looked-up location (not a cookie)
When you use the location finder, the matched area is held in your browser’s session storage so the quote form can pick it up on the next page. It never reaches a server as a cookie and it is cleared the moment you close the tab.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose Accept, we load Vercel Web Analytics, which tells us which pages are visited, roughly from which country, on what kind of device and from which website you arrived. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, does not follow you to other sites, and is not used for advertising. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it is never loaded.
What third parties may set
- Cloudflare Turnstile— on pages with a form, Cloudflare’s bot check may set its own short-lived cookie to confirm the check passed. It is there to stop spam submissions, not to profile you.
Our map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and our address lookup runs through our own server rather than your browser, so neither sets a cookie on you here.
Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your analytics choice. Every browser also lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data in its settings. Because we set nothing for tracking, blocking cookies on this site costs you nothing beyond re-entering the pre-launch password if it is still in place.
If this changes
If we ever add other analytics or any advertising, this page will say so before it happens, and we will ask for your consent first.
